The AWS Partner Network distinguishes between three tiers for consulting and services partners: Select, Advanced and Premier. AWS describes Advanced Tier Partners as companies with a strong team of trained and certified professionals and proven customer experience. Minimum requirements include:

• accredited technical and business professionals
• technically certified professionals, including at least three with Professional or Specialty certifications
• 20 customer projects launched in collaboration with AWS
• a Partner Business Plan agreed with AWS

The tier is therefore based on documented certifications and projects that have gone live.

• Verified expertise. AWS has assessed our team, certifications and projects. This gives you confidence when selecting a partner and supports internal discussions, for example with procurement or internal audit.
• Direct access to AWS. As an Advanced Tier Partner, we use AWS resources, technical support and co-selling programmes. Questions requiring input from AWS reach the right people faster.
• AWS programmes and funding. Advanced Tier status opens access to programmes such as AWS Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Well-Architected. Depending on the project and eligibility, AWS funding can cover part of the cost of proofs of concept and migrations.
