DMEXCO 2024, which took place in Cologne in September under the motto ‘Prompting the Future’, once again proved that it is one of Europe's leading digital marketing & tech events! With an impressive 40,000 participants from around 90 countries, it was clear that the trends of tomorrow are being set here!

As expected, the transformative potential of digital technologies, above all artificial intelligence (AI), was at the centre of the discussions. This year's event was an inspiring interplay of forward-looking visions and practical applications of the latest technologies.

A hot topic was the influence of AI on digital marketing. From the revolutionary use of generative AI for content creation to hyper-personalised customer experience: AI was the central theme of the trade fair! Companies such as Nestlé, Telekom and Danone provided exciting insights into their strategies for integrating AI into their marketing activities. Telekom, for example, tested AI-generated voices, while Nestlé remained cautious with AI-generated humans and animals - but who knows what the future holds!

Social media algorithms were also in the spotlight, with brands such as Hitschler-Becker sharing their success stories of how they were able to drive organic growth on platforms such as TikTok through authenticity and humour. The message was clear: those who understand how algorithms work are ahead of the game!

We from Tallence AG were there as an exhibitor! The focus was on our innovative, AI-based technologies for optimising the digital experience. Particularly impressive: Thalia, our digital colleague! Thalia is one of our Digital Humans - AI avatars that take the customer experience to a whole new level. They save companies time and resources and increase ROI thanks to their incredible efficiency, especially in service centres.

Our Digital Humans are revolutionising customer communication! They combine generative and generative AI to create a human-like interaction that responds authentically to customer needs. This technology goes far beyond simple chatbots - it can be used in different languages and industries and can be used for everything from customer authentication to personalised advice. The result? An immersive, personalised and impressively efficient customer experience!
